I will overwhelm 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
